The university district of Lisbon
Between the residential areas of Alvalade and Telheiras, it’s possible to find the Campo Grande neighbourhood, a large neighbourhood with wide avenues, known for its various universities.
The neighbourhood has been gaining a new strength thanks to the rehabilitation of the Jardim do Campo Grande. A large garden with a nice lake where you can rent a small rowing boat and where you can see joggers, cyclists, people walking their dogs or students enjoying their free time.
The area that was for centuries chosen for the construction of manor houses of noble and wealthy families, is now used by students and residents who attend the various cafes and green spaces that are located here.
Big companies have been choosing this area for its very good road accesses, public transportation and bike lanes that cross the city. Shopping malls, various restaurants, museums, schools and hospitals complete this area of Lisbon. Campo Grande remains very attractive as a residential area that offers easy access to various amenities, which facilitates the day-to-day life of its inhabitants.
