Popular family quarters
The neighbourhoods of Arroios and Estefânia are located on both sides of the long and wide Almirante Reis Avenue and also cross the Pascoal de Melo Avenue, where most of the traditional commerce, cafes, restaurants and the Jardim Constantino can be found.
When entering Arroios and Estefânia, you will have a feeling of streets and avenues a little wider, dominated by large buildings, and amenities such as an important Paediatric Hospital of Estefânia, many fine restaurants, shops and commercial buildings. At the same time, the streets across the large avenues offer great tranquillity, such as Almirante Barroso Street, whose jacarandas trees, in summer, perfume and paint the street.
Arroios and Estefânia are certainly part of the revitalization of the Lisbon area that accompanies Almirante Reis, a multicultural area where new businesses are now starting to open, alongside those that have persisted for many decades.
The two residential districts are home to large apartments, in buildings covered with the famous Portuguese tiles, making them a choice for several Portuguese families. They are also neighbourhoods with great cultural dynamism, conviviality and social vitality.
